Known problems in this version:

We have fixed these problems and will be releasing a new version this week.

Occasional exit error: Tabbed document mode sometimes gives an error when you exit WhizFolders. However, this error does not cause any data loss as it occurs after closing the documents. We are looking into it.

Copy link menus: Look at the “Copy Other” operation on the right-click menu of the topic list. Do you find it missing submenus like “Copy topic name”, “Copy Jump Link” etc? If they are missing, you will find them on the top Edit menu instead.

Improvements and new feature in this version:

Minor improvement: The main window now minimizes to the taskbar. This is more in line with how most applications should work. Earlier when all documents opened in their own windows, this feature was not desirable because in that case, you would really want to minimize only the main window and keep working on the documents. But now in the new tabbed interface of WhizFolders, the new behavior is better. Still, if you want to make it work as before, you can switch on the new option in General Options–Desktop.

New feature, copy with topic name: This new operation is available on the right-click menu of the viewer/editor. When you use it, it also copies the topic name for reference so that you know which topic the text was copied from.

Office style is now the default: If you install this version on a fresh machine, it will default to the Office Blue style skin. Existing installations won’t be affected. You can change this on the General Options–Appearance tab.
