Import utility released

in Importing notes, News, WhizFolders Addons

I occasionally get requests from users to import notes from other text files in different formats into WhizFolders. Usually, such text files have been created by export from other note organizers.

Earlier, I was developing and giving custom utilities to do that. But since a few months, I have been trying to put the import operations in a single import utility along with the documentation. I haven’t had the opportunity to publicly release this utility so far. But I think now it is ready for a test drive publicly.

You can download this import utility from:
http://file.whizfolders.com/importutil.zip

Note that this doesn’t need any installation and runs directly. Please consult the documentation to see what all import formats it supports. If you need any other, please let me know. If you have received some other import utility from me in the past, please send me some details so that I can move that import logic into this utility.
